About

3 FRIENDS.
2 HOURS A WEEK.
TOGETHER...ACHEIVING GREATNESS!

Our plan:

Choose one person a week.
The supporting members then dedicate their full support and attention to that one person. The contributors are in full service and support and the recipient is open and willing to receive support.

Why Greatness Group? How did it begin?

How many of you are doing alright? Getting by? And how many of you want to be great? And during the quest to become greater than ourselves to be, how many times have you wanted to start a journal or a journey of personal development and haven't been able to find the right journal or the right time? You know that there is something you want to work on in yourself, but you just can't get yourself started?

We felt the same way.

We were stuck and couldn't see our way out of it.

We began our journey in the work of Julie Cameron's "The Artist's Way." One week at a time and morning page after morning page, we learned how to nurture our inner artists and invite  them to come out. It was 12 weeks of great artistic discovery, however, no matter what seminar, workshop or book we worked through, it seemed that time and again, we noticed two things about personal development.

1) Personal development seemed to be aimed as an internal conversation where "I have to work on myself." It was a one person show. Now, we all love theater, but a one person show for an entire lifetime... That's not how life works.

2) Personal development seemed to be predominately a talking and planning with little action. How many times could I write down a list of things I wanted to do before I die? How many self recovery meetings could I really sit in when I could be doing something else?

So, that is when our group of two became a group of three and we create a new type of personal development - personal development through group contribution.

We, Lauren, Matt and Melissa, agree that we are committed to Greatness! But even more so, we are committed to Group Greatness.

We tossed out the fancy journals, and now write on yellow note pads and get rid of the "trying" to develop to being raw and being in action.

For the next 3 months, we will be getting together for a minimum of 2 hours a week with one another to support, share and inspire each other into action!
